    Sissi Chen was born in Beijing and moved to Vienna at the age of seven. She later relocated to Berlin to study, where she launched the blog and Instagram account @eatinginberlin—a platform where she both cooks and showcases food and restaurants from around the world. Sissi also writes recipes for Zeit Magazin and advises culinary projects on cultural sensitivity. In 2024, she published her first cookbook, Einfach Chinesisch ("Simply Chinese").
